Vincero Pictures-inspired by the last line of the aria, Nessun Dorma-is a boutique film/television production company based in Miami and Palm Springs, CA and was founded by Ken Arquelio, a director/producer/writer/actor with over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. Our mission is to produce film and television shows that highlight the human condition and provide a platform to under-represented creators with unique and compelling stories about characters who fight to be heard and be seen.
Meet the team
Ken Arquelio
Executive Producer
Ken Arquelio, of Puerto Rican descent, is the founder of Vincero Pictures and is a California-based Executive Producer, and currently resides in Miami, Florida and Palm Springs, CA.
He is the writer/director and lead actor of DISCO BEATS, starring opposite Pepe Serna, a film that pays homage to disco music in the 1970’s that won BEST US SHORT at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival (FLIFF Shorts), BEST NARRATIVE SHORT FILM at the Arizona International Film Festival, won EMERGING FILMMAKER AWARD at the Prescott Film Festival, NOMINEE FOR BEST SHORT AND BEST DIRECTOR at the Pasadena International Film Festival, NOMINEE FOR BEST SHORT AND BEST DIRECTOR at the UrbanFest360 (Orlando) Film Festival. OTHER FILM FESTIVAL SELECTIONS include: Sarasota Film Festival and USA Film Festival, South Beach Film Festival, CineFestival (San Antonio) Catalina Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival, Georgia Latino International Film Festival and Santa Fe International Film Festival, Annapolis Film Festival, and Cleveland International Film Festival.
He was awarded a producing fellowship from the PGA Create Program and NALIP (National Association of Latino Independent Producers) in 2022 for DESERT RATS, a television pilot that he co-created and co-wrote.
A theatrically trained actor and theatre producer, Ken has worked in the entertainment industry for over twenty-five years.
Juan Pablo Arias Muñoz
Creative Director
Juan Pablo Arias Muñoz is a Chilean director, screenwriter and producer, Fulbright Scholarship Award recipient and winner of the 2020 HBOAccess Directing Fellowship. He graduated with a Master of Fine Arts from the American Film Institute Conservatory in Los Angeles, California and obtained a Bachelor of Social Communication and Audiovisual Directing from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
Most recently, Juan Pablo directed CASA GRANDE, produced by Warner Bros and ESX Entertainment starring Lou Diamond Phillips, John Pyper-Ferguson, and Madison Lawlor that was released at 200+ screens in the United States and THE CURSE OF THE NECKLACE, also produced by Warner Bros starring Henry Thomas (ET) and the McGraw Sisters that can be seen on screening platforms internationally including MAX. He also wrote and directed a re-imagining of REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE for Warner Bros. Pictures also available on MAX.
